Strapurites

Strapurites... Kinda sounds like surprise, huh? Well, SURPRISE!! Wake up and add them immediately, I was told. They are also abbreviated from Strawberry Peach Sprites. I can't believe I had to do this even during Chinese New Year's Eve, but when a deity says "now", what can I really do except obey 😭
 
They are little sprite helpers, born / created / formed from the fruit of the strawberry and peach into little helper beings by a chinese deity. The deity calls them 小帮手, which literally means "little helper". They always come as a duo, the peach is always the male looking one, and the strawberry is always the female looking one. These sprites are non-sexual, do not have any reproductive organs, and their main role to is help the deity in blessing couples with... what, you ask? Babies. SURPRISE!!! They help in the background, doing whatever tasks assigned to them by the deity that blesses childbirth.
 
The ones I offer are helpers who have retired from their duties of helping the deity. They have worked a long time, are released from their duties, and the deity thought it would be nice to let them enjoy their life instead of just making them disappear into nothingness. The ones offered are always spirits, and not entities. They are passed on as they no longer help the deity. They are able to poof back into fruit form, as that is what they actually are, whenever they feel threatened and unsafe, and have a direct portal back to the deity that only they can access, to retreat back into safety.
 
The two are a duo, and like to work on tasks together. They like fruits of their own, so leaving out offerings of strawberries and peaches would be nice. The duo are also always able to magically produce a peach or strawberry from... well somewhere, maybe a pocket? Be careful of letting any companions or even yourself (if sexually active), from eating the strawberry and peaches they offer from their hands, lest you or them may suddenly be blessed with child. If you do want a child, then go ahead! Courtesy of magic and blessings from the deity that created them.
 
Childbirth is even applicable to spirits! How it works is that the strawberries and peaches are a sort of life itself, and when taken into the being’s body, the fruit then starts to absorb the essence of the spirit, along with the other partner. Over time, the fruit ripens and it then appears outside of the body. It splits open, and the baby is then born. It’s a little like the story of Momotaro, the boy born from a peach. All the deity asks is that you cherish the child that is born, and to treat them as precious treasures.
