Shoraffes

Shoraffes. You think it could possibly maybe stand for giraffes? You are absolutely right. They are giraffes with... extremely short necks. They were created by an alien species and then left on a realm to survive. Surprisingly they did, and there is now a population of them. The aliens continue to create more because they find them funny and hilarious looking. The aliens care for the realm they live on, and plant fruit trees for them. They eat the grass on the ground, and their favourite are fruits that fall from the trees.

These alien giraffes have antennas on their head which can send out waves to communicate amongst themselves telepathically. Usually they use it to tell other nearby Shoraffes that they found fruits on the ground. They are very peaceful and lovely, and have big generosity in their hearts. They always share the fruits they find, and if there is only one, they takes bite each to share amongst each other.

Some of them look wildly different from each other, but they all have the distinct yellow body and spotted markings, along with extremely short necks. Their looks depend on how the alien wants them to look during creation, then they are beamed down to the realm. The other Shoraffes nearby will quickly go to the newly created Shoraffe and befriend them, and bring them into their herd.

They are loved by the alien species, so they are well taken care of. They live a peaceful life, and die peacefully as well. When they die, an alien is automatically dispatched to come and collect their body, beaming them up. They are given a proper funeral before being cremated. Requests for living entities of this species are a little more special. They will not be taken from the realm as they will feel sad being away from their already established herd, so a new one is specially created by the alien species to be adopted.
