Nyriads

Nyriads are woodland beings that hail from a forest realm under Goddess Artemis’ care and protection. They have a close connection to her and worship her with respect and reverence. They love nature and are one with nature.

These beings are very gentle, caring and are a tight knit group, helping each other out in the forests. Their main duties are to care for the forest so that it continues to prosper and grow, deemed fit as a serene resting place for Goddess Artemis to take refuge in as she relaxes during her downtime.

They are female living entities only, and they go back to nature after death, as they repeat the cycle of renewal in the forest, taking rest and being borne once again. They have knowledge of nature magic and use it in their daily lives to improve, heal and grow the forest. In their free time, they take slow walks around the forest and communicate with the animals that dwell within the forest. Some of them will flock to Goddess Artemis when she is around, being by her side and just enjoying her presence.

They will give gentle advice and encouragement, as well as any guidance if requested, or soothe you with their nature magic if you are feeling down and anxious, or experiencing havoc in your life. They also have an innate connection with animals, and can communicate with them. Any slight to Goddess Artemis will be treated as disrespect and an insult to them, but they will happily talk their head off if you wish to know more about their experiences with Goddess Artemis.
