Midnight Demons

These demons are termed Midnight Demons, because the 'game' starts at midnight for them, and stops when the sun breaches the horizon. They are very cunning demons who love inflicting fear and horror on others through the 'game'. They are very dark, tethering near the end of the DA spectrum, with some creeping into BA territory. They are masters in shadow, illusion and dream magic.

Now, you may be thinking, what is this 'game' that I am talking about... These demons inflict scary dreams, and the dreams always start like this - the sun is setting, night is coming on, the person is in a location that has long corridors, lots of doors and staircases, such as one of an abandoned hospital or a school. The person then wants to leave the building, but the lights are dim and flickering, and they have to traverse through dark corridors, stairways and open multiple doors to leave. Open the wrong door, and a evil creepy smile on a black figure can be seen through the crack. Walk through a long corridor, and they will be faced with a hunched shadow being facing the wall, forcing them to change directions. The only solution is to hide, avoid, run, and wait for the sun to rise before making an escape. If they try to escape before the sun rises, they will always meet a gory end in the dream-state, such as being ripped apart, eaten etc, experiencing immense pain before 'dying' in the dream. These demons feed off the emotions that are being emitted by the hunted while they are in that dream state.

These demons will not harm nor inflict these dreams on their keeper who they have chosen to be companions with. However they will still delight and feed off any emotions that are emitted, such as 'feeling anxious' to 'fearful' and 'scared'. The good thing is that after they feed off these emotions, they can leave their keeper with calm and peace in place of those negative emotions. They emit heavy intense dark energies with their presence, so if you are not used to those kind of energies, you may ask them to tone it down.
