Meruians

Meruians are hybrid sheep and goat people who cannot shift. The females are born with sheep features, and the males are born with goat features. There are a few rare cases where it is vice versa. They live in a realm where it is either summer or winter for 6 months, and their transition period to the next season is quite short, around 3-4 weeks.

Goat people are the ones that are dominant, intelligent, ambitious and are go-getters. They go out to work in high-end/elite business corporations, bringing in the dole for the village. Sheep people are more homely, ridiculously strong, and stay in the village to do sewing, farming, cooking, hunting etc. They also protect and take care of farm animals like chickens, cows and actual sheeps and goats. They also teach the children of their village.

Each play a different role, and achieve different things. Granted, the goats are extremely happy to do things for the sheeps. The reason I got out of them was "they are just so cute, soft, and lovable". However, don't be fooled by their image. The sheeps, though in the submissive role, are the ones that actually has the goats in the palm of their hands.

They are omnivores, eating vegatables, soups, eggs, and even meat from the sheep and goats they rear. There are even bakeries, cafes and flour mills, all manned by sheeps. They do not see themselves as cannibals as they don't view the goats and sheeps as being of the same species as them. Only sheep people can give birth, however there is no danger of them being poached or hunted by other races, as the sheeps are the ones that are... well, as mentioned, ridiculously strong.
