Gooeys

Gooeys are tar beings. They are extremely adamant that they are not slime beings, and will get very offended if they get called or labelled as slimes. They are very black and sticky, and these beings reside in a swamp of black tar in the middle of a dark forest.

They have to move out of the swamp once it gets overpopulated. Because there are a lot of pumpkins around the area, they naturally reside in pumpkins and use them as a home once they get crowded out of the swamp.

These beings can shift from their goo form and their normal humanoid form. Whilst some can shift completely to look humanoid, others can shift into other forms instead, depending on what they prefer.

Even though they hate being called slimes, that doesn’t mean they hate slimes. They just have extreme pride in their identity as a tar being. They are perfectly alright with being friends with slimes. There might be friendly rivalry going on though, or some competition if they meet one.
