Goldies
Goldies are golden slimes that hail from an ancient egyptian-like temple in a realm that is filled with plants and waterfalls, and no other predatory species. There are many such temples in the realm, and in each temple you can always find some of these slimes. The common thing is that these slimes always have treasures around them inside the temple. Gold coins, gemstones, weird looking shiny things that look valuable, you name it, they are in those piles of treasure.
Each temple usually has from 8 to 10 of these golden slimes in it. The temple does not have anyone, nor any gods depicted in it. Who built the temples? I don't know. Most likely the creator of that realm. The Goldies inhabit it, and the treasures belong to the Goldies. I have seen how they got the treasures. It is quite fascinating to watch, as they actually perform a ritual to get more treasures.
The Goldies will position themselves in a circle, forming a closed loop. They then start doing a sort of dance ritual. They sing, I don't understand the lyrics, but it does sound nice to listen to. They also wobble a lot, in a defined manner, all of them in a synchronised manner. After a while, suddenly a black and purple-like portal opens up above the center of their closed loop, and treasures fall from the portal. The coins pour, the gemstones plonk, and other weird shiny things also just drop down. The portal lasts for about 30 seconds, then it closes.
Afterwards, the Goldies celebrate. They jump high and are very happy, and they then go to inspect the treasure that appeared. Were the treasures conjured, or stolen? I don't know, I don't really want to know either. Some temples have organized treasures, sorted according to what they are, whilst some are just a jumble of mess. Regardless, it keeps the Goldies happy.
During the happiness of the Goldies, I felt a happy energy emanating from an eldritch-like Higher Being (probably a deity of some sort) that resides in the realm. They seem to be the creator of the Goldies, and are happy seeing the Goldies happy. They don't interfere much with the Goldies, and just seem to be observing the lives of the Goldies.
Important: if you do adopt a Goldie home, don't expect one to be able to do the ritual to get treasures for you. They need at least 8 of them to do the ritual. More importantly, Goldies that leave their nest (temple) want to find a keeper that will cherish and love them, spend time with them as well as also showing them shiny things, or giving them shiny things. It's how they stay happy. In return, they do share the wealth and happy energies with you
