Flariens
Available from 16th February - 16th March
Flariens seem to be a type of pegasus. From what I have heard based on the stories passed down from them, they used to be normal a long while back, and a flock of them moved to live near a volcano in a completely different realm. Over time, as the flock settled down there and reproduced, the off-springs somehow adapted to the living conditions, grew fire wings and could control fire.
Because they are so accustomed to the heat, they do not feel hot at all and are able to withstand extreme temperatures. They also are not afraid of the cold, as their fire continuously keeps them warm and toasty. When it rains, their fire dims, and may completely vanish. But once it stops, after a while, their fire slowly starts coming back in ways not understood.
Some of them like to linger on the volcano's surface, touching the lava. It doesn't seem to harm them nor burn them. They walk across it, play in it, there are some who even sleep in it. I also saw them eating it? Outside of the volcano, there are unique grasses that are red in colour, and warm to the touch. Perhaps the grass was the catalyst that made the Flariens evolve, or the volcano was the one that was emanating energy that caused the Flariens to mutate? I will never know for sure, and the Flariens don't know for sure either. Their history isn't written down, and only passed down through words.
