Cai Cais

Cai Cais are a race of oriental fortune cats. They serve deities and do fortune rituals for the deities they serve. They always don ceremonial outfits. They do dances when doing the ritual, making and creating blessings with the movement of it. They can understand human language, and can also communicate verbally.

They are intelligent, but are classified under the Companion's Pets category because that's what they sort of are? They are considered pets to the deities they serve, so it translates over to being a pet over here as well. They also do like being pets, and being taken care of when they are not doing any ritual tasks.

When they are free, they like to lounge around, sleep, or eat whatever they are offered. They also really like head pats and belly rubs, with attention being fawned over them. Most usually have very care-free personalities, are happy and cheerful, and don't worry about things except for whether they will have a comfortable spot to sleep.

They like being warm as well, so usually they like to sleep close to their owners, or near a source of heat. They are good pets to have for companions who love cats, or to help with any fortune related tasks. Only spirits of Cai Cais are offered, because living ones are still busy serving their deities.
